Erläuterung: oder Kaptschak, Kyptschaak, Kiptschaaktürken; große türkische Volksgruppe, die im Mittelalter im Gebiet von Aralsee, Kaspischem Meer und Schwarzem Meer lebte (Kiptschakgebiet, später das Khanat Kiptschak der Goldenen Horde); ihren westlichen Zweig bildeten die Kumanen.
